Educational Training

Amigos de Jesús has an on-site Catholic, bilingual primary school that serves to provide the education for children at the orphanage.  As most of the children coming to Amigos have little or no formal education, Amigos offers them a unique and personalized program that they would not be able to get in the public school system.  We have been blessed with a director who has expertise in special education, and we currently have five full-time teachers on staff.  We have the ability to work with the children one-on-one to facilitate their personal, spiritual and educational growth.  Some of our children attend middle school, high school and even aspire to higher education.  Some children choose to study a vocation after finishing their studies either at Amigos de Jesús or off-site.
