• Host a Fundraising Event

  A gift of appreciated securities is frequently the most economic way for donors to make a charitable contribution.? Benefits include:

• Make a Gift In Memory or In Honor of Someone Special
  You may honor a loved one or friend by making a gift in their memory or honor. We will notify the honoree that you have made this wonderful gesture. Many people also make charitable donations to Amigos de Jesús in lieu of purchasing wedding, Mother's or Father's Day, holiday or birthday gifts for family and friends. Simply send a note along with your cash donation telling us whom we should contact. What better way to celebrate special occasions!

• Facilitate a Matching Gift
  Many companies offer matching gift programs to their employees, directors, employee spouses and retirees. Contact your company’s human resources department for more details or to obtain a matching gift form. Send your matching gift form and your gift directly to Amigos de Jesús and we will complete the process.

• Contribute Frequent Flyer Miles

• Contribute Gifts In Kind
  Amigos de Jesús gratefully accepts In Kind gifts as well as Gift Cards for Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target, Staples, Circuit City and more.  Please contact our office to receive an up to date wish list and shipping schedule for In Kind donations.

• Leave a Legacy
  The Legacy Society has been established for donors who wish to make a planned or estate gift to Amigos de Jesús. Unless specified otherwise by our donors, these gifts are invested to assure that a source of funds will be available in the future of Amigos de Jesús.

  Amigos de Jesús has three funds that offer a variety of opportunities to sustain our mission and promote growth of services in the future.

  The most common way to make a planned gift is through a Will or a Trust that takes effect after the donor’s death. A bequest results in an estate tax deduction as it reduces the size of the donor’s estate for estate tax purposes. A bequest gift to Amigos de Jesús can be for a percentage, dollar amount, or the remainder of a donor’s estate. The legal name that should be used in a Will is Amigos de Jesús.

  Other planned gift vehicles include charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and gifts through retirement assets.
