One afternoon, two fifth-grade girls set up a table – adorned with hand-painted signage – outside a grocery store in Pennsylvania, U.S. The girls raised over $650 that day and gave it all to Amigos de Jesús. Nearby, a middle school student worked with his classmates to collect spare change and gave all of the money to Amigos. Another child, barely 7 years old, gave all of his First Holy Communion gift money to Amigos.
