David

David  was raised by his single mother in Azacualpa, just a town or two over from where the Amigos orphanage is located. He is the youngest of four, and came to Amigos in September of 2005, after his mother died of tuberculosis. When he arrived at the hogar, David struggled a great deal with behavior issues and aggression. He has since learned so much about channeling his feelings, and has been a great support to other boys at the orphanage. He is also incredibly intelligent, and has been on the Honor Roll two years in a row at his colegio (high school). He will be celebrating his 16th birthday in January of 2010, and his dream is to become a mechanical engineer.
