Martin is one of the young men who was at Amigos in the earliest years. He has been living independently for over 10 years and works hard to support himself and his family. Read his lesson below:
During the time I was at the ‘hogar,' I felt like I was with my own family. I felt that there were many people who understood me. Among the things I learned during my time at Amigos include the value of life and how to put in effort and take initiative in work, all of which help me everyday now.
To the children: continue moving forward, never give up, and show everyone that you can achieve and be successful no matter what happens.
