Jesus in Us

Lord Jesus, you are our beginning and our end, our friend, and our existence. Nobody remains far from You, for you are a friend of sinners and an intimate and loving God. May your silent presence within us and between us transform and heal our lives, leading us to serve the “least” of our brother and sisters.

—Fr. Patricio Lynch Pueyrredon

  • Choose a sacred word as the symbol of your intention to consent to god’s presence and action within (i.w. Abba, God, Jesus, My Lord, Love, Peace, Hope, Maranatha).

  • Sit comfortably and with eyes closed, settle briefly, and silently introduce the sacred word as the symbol of your consent to god’s presence and action within.

  • When you become aware of thoughts, return ever-so-gently to the sacred word.

  • At the end of the prayer period, remain in silence with eyes closed for a couple of minutes.
